you should simplify the answer and leave the ans in surd in its simplest form.

4x/4=x
x*x=x sq
x sq*2=2x sq
Perimeter of the smaller square is
2x sq*4/9*=8x sq/9
√(8x sq/9)=(2x√2)/3
(2x√2)/3*4
=(4x√2)/3
